Empowering Education Through Free Learning Resources
Education Development Network

The Challenge
In many Ugandan primary schools, the student-to-teacher ratio is incredibly high. Even the most dedicated teachers struggle to provide individual attention when they lack basic physical resources. Lessons are often dictated or copied from the blackboard, leaving little room for students to practice, play, and master new skills.

Our Solution
The Education Development Network creates workbooks that turn every lesson into an engaging adventure tailored to the specific needs of Ugandan classrooms. To ensure our impact is as sustainable as it is educational, we print every resource locally, before hand-delivering them to students and schools 100% free of charge.
Our Workbooks Provide:
Structured Learning Paths
We focus on simplifying Core Literacy, Early Foundations, and Numeracy, offering structured learning paths for students to develop essential skills.
Teacher Support
Our workbooks serve as teaching assistants in print, allowing educators to effectively manage large classes and provide clear guidance to every student at their own desk.
Impact Assessment
We utilise competency-based metrics to assess the impact of our workbooks on student development, enabling us to continuously optimise our resources for maximum educational impact.
